Pedagogy Verbs & Exemplars


The SLS hopes to navigate some of the rough waters with you and is here to answer some questions.  The Common Core is a wonderful advocate to have on our side this year.   Let's review some of the basics Please wrap your brains around all the pedagogy verbs that are deeply woven into the Anchor Standards of the CCSS.

As teachers are trying to figure out how to teach to the Common Core, I would encourage you to invite them to collaboratively plan a unit of deep research and investigation.

Please note the literature books within these units and consider ordering the books you may not have.  Teachers are likely to come calling for them...to investigate.
